Home Energy Savings To Do Right Now!!!

Water Conservation in the Home
Are you aware that water leaks account for approximately 14% of the average home water usage?
A continuous leak the size of a 1/16" hole wastes 74,000 gallons of water in a 3 month period,
according to most local water companies. A 1/4" inch hole can waste up to 1,181,500 gallons of water.
Water leaks should be repaired as soon as they are discovered. If you don't know if you have
a water leak turn off all your faucets. Make sure there is no running water in the house or outside
the house. Then check your water meter. If it is moving you need to call your water company
immediately and have them do some further testing to find out why.
